Really don't want to be at work today.
I took yet another beating from a service user last night. I'm fine, have a scratch on my forehead and my tee-shirt got shreadded but essentially I'm fine... other than not wanting to be here!
Oh well only another eleven or so hours to go.
I don't know about faking it but I think I could defo get away with going home due to stress. The stupid thing is that I love my job.
What is it that you do?
I know I should look through your blog and fine out for myself, but I would be here all week 
I have no idea how you can do that job. But I am glad there are people in the world like you that do.
You should get a medal. Or a big pay rise.
Be careful there eh?

My shifts are 13 hours but I only work 2 days 2 days off then 3 days on 3 days off.
I work in a centre for people with challenging behaviour. It's basically a secure unit.

Pro Ah, I understand. Difficult work. I have a friend who does something similar and she's been walloped a few times too.

And you would not be able to strike back which is the way it should be as the lads really are not in their right mind. Not trying to be rude but you know what I mean.

Jeez, man, that sucks! You must be so much in control. So many men would lash right on back at them! Anyway, you may not be //physically// injured, but are //you// okay?
You love the work, and you know you wouldnt leave them, sometimes it is hard, was the same when I worked for the advanced dementia secure unit.
At least we can say they really dont know that they are hurting you so much,

You need more support at work this shouldn't continue. I know the service users can't help the way they are but you are not a punchbag and you should not have to put up with this constant abuse.
