My mate James did a blog entry the other day about how he'd had little time to do anything as he'd been battling Christians. He gave a link to the site.

So I went along. And found Brad had been commenting as well.

Small world you might think! - or rather you would if you knew that Brad and James have never read each others blog or even met.

The blog belongs to a fella called Cosmodaddy.

Cosmodaddy is a long time friend of James.

Cosmodaddy is Brad's ex.

How very twisted.

But NOT as twisted as the some of the comments.

Incredulous and brilliant at the same time.

I will NEVER tire of reading 'Christian'/gay debates. It's probably wrong that I find such blatant hate and persecution so entertaining. However, until they're able to come up with an argument that doesn't feature "His word" and "rectum" in the same sentence (although I can come up with a few of my own) I'm sure they'll remain as ridiculous as ever.

Sometimes it's enough to make me wish there really is a God so that 'He' could smite them down and kick their asses into a firey pit of eternal sodomy and mixed fibres. Fuckers.

It saddens me to think that people are so concerned with what others do or how they conduct their lives. Who cares? If someone can find love during their short time on earth, more power to them I say.

Life is so damn short to spend time full of hatred which is typically intolerance and a self-hate of themselves that are misdirected towards others.

I do not have the energy to be embroiled in such appalling negativity.

And as for the so-called religious nutters who hide under the guise of Christianity, shame on them. They do not understand the meaning of the word Christian.

  I've got nothing against Christians or anyone who follows a faith. I think people get a lot of help from following a faith and would support them 100% but those comments left on that blog entry are just ridiculous and cause religious hatred.

    What I can not swallow is when these so-called Christians spout hate propaganda while professing it is their religious views. That is so anti-christian if you ask me.
    
    I would wager that 99% of the people who sit in church week after week are nothing but hypocrites who believe that all their sins are absolved by the mere act of spending 45 + minutes in a holy place. What they don't understand is that is the rest of the time spent outside the church, the time spent living our life and how we conduct ourselves outside of that 45 minutes, is what matters.
    
    I just don't see the point of being holier-than-thou when at the end of the day, aren't we all simply trying to live our lives the best way we can? And if not, then we should be.
    
    Hubby sezs it best 'Live and let live.' and 'I won't interfere in your life as long as you don't interfere in mine.'

    One of the points tht I //will// be making is that all the crap they are spouting about the Word of god when they are classing themselves as Christians. Christianity was born with Christ, which gave it the name, therefore the doctrines should be thos of Christ, did he not preach tolerance and forgiveness?

Honestly. Some people are so narrow minded that they can't see anything bigger than a minute detail!

Two points for that lady;
1) What goes on in the privacy of other peoples bedrooms is none of her business!
2) God loves every person on this planet, regardless of sexuality, skin colour, background, etc.

These people drives me nuts. Do they think that you have made a choice? Nonsense! You have no more made a choice than you have decided to have blue eyes (or whatever) or the colour of your skin (unless you are Michael Jackson).

I think that politicians should be put up against a wall and shot at dawn if they profess such stupid, narrow minded, bigoted, ignorant nonsense. Actually, not just politicians. Yeah, have an opinion, but if it is an opinion of hate, just shut up, coz I for one don't wanna hear it.
