My x was epileptic, the worst experience he had was coming round in an ambulance in New York with an armed copper shouting in his ear asking what drugs he was on. My biggest fear was something like this happening to him, luckily wherever he/we were if it happened people either stared or helped. No doubt he will get plenty of surprises in the US prison system, and I am not talking candy either.
