  • I've got a feeling...

... that when the time comes I'll be doing one of these... one of them might happen sooner rather than later!

I'm in a strange mood today. You know the kind I get into. I suppose you could say I'm a typical gemini what with my mood swings. Of course some people would say I'm typically a gemini because I'm two-faced but thankfully most of the people who would say that are long in the past and were never friends, only business acquaintances who I'd use to get to the top. You can condemn me for that if you wish but just like those I stomped on it's in the past. It's not something I'm proud of, there aren't many of those, but it's something I no longer care or think about.

God, I've only been here five minutes and already I'll bet people are switching off in their droves!

Brad should be home by now. Yes gentle reader, once again I'm writing this while sat in the kitchen but will be posting it in a few hours times when I'm sat outside the home of some unsuspecting wireless internet bill payer.

Brad is usually home by 1.05pm - for lunch not the entire day - and it's now 1.15pm. I know it's only ten minutes but his work is only five minutes away. We can see it from our bedroom!

In my head I'm taking odds as to what is keeping him.

    1'000'000 - 1 says he's left me.
    1'000 - 1 says he just can't be bothered.
    100 - 1 says he's still working.
10 - 1 says the girl who has lunch before him is late.
    Evens says it's car trouble.

Come on, how could it not be care trouble?

From where I'm sat in the kitchen I can see him come down the road... or rather I should be able to!

It's now 1.20pm and I can see him.

Good God isn't the blog amusing! Don't I just captivate the audience! It would appear it's a good job I'm not about much at the moment!

Okay, so he's just pulled into the drive and it's now turning around. Any minute now I shall find out when he's late.

Well if you'd have put you money car trouble you'd have just lost it! He was still working! Are you as shocked as I am? It takes Brad an hour to muster up enough energy to get out of bed so you can imagine how much time it takes for him to get into the flow of doing something... he must be slowing down ready for the drive home and because of how much he's worked it's taken him longer than usual to stop... you know, like breaking distances getting longer the faster you're going.

So back to this mood I'm in. It actually came on last night halfway through watching Mark Wootton. Brad and I have liked him since we saw him in Shirley Ghostman and personally I think he's a comic genius and as much as I'm loving his new show on BBC3 some of the stuff cuts very close to the mark. It was one of his sketches that made me thoughtful and it's put me in the mood I'm still in now.
