well ive tried to download it via firefox and there is an error in their website which does not allow the user to download unless the quicktime bundle is ticked.

well i've got it and first impressions I am impressed...
like the fonts it defaults to.
however to only issue I would have at the mo is a memory one, it's quite hungry.. however I am running about 6 other applications at the same time.
will have a proper play with it over my lunch hour...but it looks really good...apart from that crappy gray bit at the top but I am sure I am customise that.lol-

Yes, I'm rather disappointed with the top bar. On a mac it has a metal effect and I'm damn sure it wouldn't have hurt them to do the same to this one!
There is a bug I've found and reported. In preferences the setting allowing links for other applications to open up as a new tab in the current window doesn't work. It still opsn up another copy of Safari. But, as I've said, it's still a beta version so I can't complain too much. Well I can, but I won't. -

It's supposed to be up to twice as quick as IE, and 1-point-something times quicker than FF, maybe that accounts for high memory usage?
